The wait is over: Nakayale Vocational Training Centre is officially representing the Omusati Region at the 4th National Skills Competition in Swakopmund! From 22–27 September 2025, our talented team is competing at the iconic MTC Dome, where Namibia’s best young artisans are putting their skills to the ultimate test.
This is more than just a contest. It’s a live showcase of passion, precision, and the incredible potential of Namibia’s youth and Nakayale is proud to be part of it.
Meet the Champions of Nakayale
Rauha Oscar – Restaurant Service
Rauha brings warmth and precision to every table she serves. “It’s like welcoming a guest into your own home,” she says. “You want every detail to be perfect so they can relax and truly enjoy themselves.” She is turning service into an art form one guest at a time.
Sakeus Iifo – Cooking
For Sakeus, the kitchen is where tradition meets innovation. “There’s a right way to do things,” he explains, “but there’s also room for your own voice. I want my cooking to taste like Namibia — but also like me.” Every dish he prepares tells a story of pride, creativity, and identity.
Abel Ashimbanga – Electrical Installations
Abel thrives on solving complex challenges. “There’s a real peace in getting it just right,” he shares. “When every connection is secure, every circuit safe, you know you’ve built something that matters.” His work powers possibilities.
