Our Core Business
As one of ten (10) state-owned Vocational Training Centres, NVTC has as its core business the training of young technically inclined Namibians in key vocational and technical areas and entrepreneurship skills.
To this end, NVTC focuses on:
- Offering the NTA newly designed unit standards and CBET curricula.
- Offering a variety of training, aimed at skills up-grading to enhance entrepreneurial skills amongst/by the members of the industry and public.
- Identifying appropriate technologies for utilization in solving industrial and commercial identified areas of concerns and problems.
- Effective utilization of resources for successful implementation of business concerns identified through research and other studies.
- As part of the Training HUB, NVTC specializes in Electrical Engineering and Information Communication Technology with the following trades: Electrical General and Information Technology.
